Our menu changes frequently

It's all about the seasons and freshness. Ingredients are sourced from local suppliers as much as possible.  Some come from our neighbours gardens!

As much as possible our dishes are gluten free

We try to use local suppliers where we can. Food is prepared in our kitchen. If you have any questions, allergies, intolerances please ask before ordering.

Our kitchen is open Wednesday & Thursday lunch and evenings,  all day Friday & Saturday and for lunch on Sunday

SAMPLE MENU - APRIL 2025

To Start

  • Bowl of herb marinated Olives  V VE GF
  • Todays freshly made soup V VE GF and warm bread GFA
  • Garlic mushrooms on rosemary focaccia V VG
  • Taster bowl Moroccan style cauliflower, Mac ’n’ cheese, salt & pepper squid
  • Ham Hock Terrine, red onion chutney, crispbreads

In the Middle

  • Herb infused Chicken supreme served with sauté potatoes, fresh vegetables and house gravy GF
  • Duck breast, fondant potatoes, fresh vegetables and redcurrant jus GF
  • Beetroot Wellington, sauté potatoes, seasonal vegetables and gravy V VE 
  • Salmon fillet, vegetables, new potatoes, creamy prawn and lobster sauce GF

Pub Classics

  • Trio of Billys Lincolnshire Sausages, mash, garden peas, gravy
  • Inchs Cider battered Haddock, chunky chips mushy peas, homemade tartare sauce GF
  • 10oz Steak, homemade chips, mushrooms, tomato and garnish GF
  •        Add Peppercorn Sauce
  • Gammon steak, pineapple ring, chips, garden peas GF

Burgers

  • The Packhorse homemade 8oz Beef Burger, onion rings, tomato, lettuce, gherkin  and relish served in a wheat sourdough roll served with coleslaw and a side of fries
  • Cajun Chicken Burger, tomato, lettuce and served in a wheat and sourdough roll with a side of fries and salsa
  • Lentil and Spinach Burger, tomato, lettuce and relish served in a wheat and sourdough roll, coleslaw and a side of fries  VE

Desserts

  • Sticky toffee and date pudding, custard GF
  • Classic Creme Brûlée
  • Chocolate Torte - rich chocolate mousse on a chocolate sponge base
  • Warm fig, plum and hazelnut Frangipane, scoop of vanilla ice cream
  • Salted caramel Cheesecake
  • Chocolate Brownie, scoop of vanilla ice cream V VE GF  
  • Affogato:  Vanilla ice cream, espresso and a shot of coffee liqueur  V VE GF
  • Cheese Board  Selection of three cheeses, grapes, chutney and crackers with a shot of port

Hot Drinks

  • Boozy Latte - your choice of Amaretto, Baileys or Cointreau
  • Liqueur Coffee - your favourite liqueur, fresh coffee and topped with fresh cream
