The Christmas Fayre menu runs from 26 November until Christmas Eve, Christmas Day lunch sits down at 12.45pm, and the Boxing Day village walk leaves the pub at 11am.

We're the only pub in the village, so we make sure it's a good one.
As the village's sole pub, we take pride in our unique position. Visit us for a tranquil pint and some personal time with a coffee & book, or reserve a table for a traditional Sunday roast that's sure to impress. We also welcome walking groups pre-ordering lunch ready for a hungry return.
Everything is cooked to order for a considerably better taste. Enjoy seasonal dishes, all served in a cosy, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

SUNDAY LUNCH
Roasts are cooked on the day.When they are gone, they are gone.
Served with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. Every roast is gluten free and the kitchen runs from midday until three. Stay a little longer and enjoy live music from 3pm.

Roasts from midday until they run out, which they generally do. Acoustic sets follow in the bar from three until five, and you do not need a ticket.

Get some amazing food from our street food van which pulls into the car park from five o’clock.
WED 7 OCT (every Wednesday)
Coffee, Cake Knit and Natter
Coffee and cake in the morning, Knit and Natter round the fire, and the kitchen open from twelve.

Fantastic food and ambience. We were visiting from Indiana, USA. They had entertainment on a Sunday which was a pleasant surprise. Extensive gluten free menu.
4 of us ate last night and 3 of us had the classic fish pie and one ox cheek. We were blown away by the quality of the food, it was beautifully presented on hot plates and the taste was divine. The chef is very talented.
Great pub with a lovely atmosphere. Had a Sunday roast made by the new chef and it was delicious! Tuesdays are a good time at the quiz – sometimes challenging, always fun. Still yet to win.
